Elimu Ya Kenya
Elimu Ya Kenya (EYK) is a Kenyan non-profit transforming lives in Mombasa's Kisauni region through education. For nearly two decades, EYK has served vulnerable children, youth, and women in an area marked by deep poverty and limited opportunity. Its flagship project, Elimu Ya Kenya School, educates children from Early years, Primary to the Junior Secondary School, nurturing confident graduates equipped to break cycles of poverty. By joining the volunteer time bank, EYK seeks to access diverse skills that enrich our school environment. We welcome expertise across every domain—from classroom support, teacher mentoring, and special needs education to sports coaching, arts, and library development. We also value skills in administration, fundraising, IT, healthcare, and counseling. Whether your background is in education, business, or the trades, your contribution strengthens our holistic model, helping transform vulnerable learners into empowered community leaders.
